Legal
Terms of Service
Bon Warehouse Limited — effective date to be confirmed before launch. This draft is pending legal review.
1. Who we are
Bon Warehouse Limited ("Bon Warehouse", "we", "us") is a company registered in Nigeria at 83 Ademola Ajasa Street, Omole Estate, Phase 1, Ojodu, Lagos, Nigeria. These terms apply to every shipment you book with us, in either direction.
2. What we do
We arrange the collection, international carriage, customs handling and last-mile delivery of parcels on our active corridor: Nigeria ↔ London, United Kingdom. We do not purchase or source items on your behalf.
3. Your responsibilities
- Describe the contents of your shipment accurately and completely.
- Declare a truthful value — it drives customs paperwork and any liability limit.
- Provide correct sender and recipient names, phone numbers and addresses.
- Pack the item adequately for international transit, or ask us to repack it.
- Confirm you have the legal right to send the item from and into the countries involved.
4. Prohibited and restricted items
You may not ship cash or negotiable instruments, narcotics, weapons or ammunition, explosives or flammable goods, live animals, human remains, perishable food, counterfeit goods, or anything prohibited by Nigerian customs or the laws of the destination country. We may refuse, return or surrender prohibited items to the relevant authority, and you remain responsible for the fees already incurred.
5. Quotes and payment
Prices shown on our estimate calculator are indicative. The binding price is the quote you confirm at booking, which itemises the service fee, customs handling fee, delivery fee and any weight surcharge. Payment is taken in NGN or USD through our payment processor, Cashenvoy, on its hosted checkout. We never receive or store your full card details. A shipment moves only after payment is verified.
6. Duties and taxes
Our customs handling fee covers the clearance work we perform. Government duties, taxes or inspection charges assessed directly on your item are separate. Where they apply, we will tell you before they are incurred wherever possible, and pass them on at cost with documentation.
7. Transit times and delays
Estimated transit is 7–14 business days from collection to delivery. These are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by customs inspections or holds, carrier or airline schedules, incorrect address details, or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Liability
Our liability for loss of or damage to a shipment is limited to the lesser of the declared value and the liability cap stated at booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or opportunity. Claims must be raised in writing within 14 days of the delivery date or expected delivery date, with your shipment reference and supporting photographs.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation and refund treatment depends on how far the shipment has progressed. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force for your shipment is the version published when you confirmed your booking.
